Stages of Life
Life all starts as a child, loving to play games and to learn, then as you get older you start to see the world more and more. You become an adolescent or teen, and now are apart of society, still learning what to do in your next stage of life. As you grow older you become an adult, and in so gaining your own responsibilities, a job, a significant other, and even more schooling! After that you go into the Parent phase, it gets harder, having to maintain your job, lover, children, and sometimes even more schooling. Things finally start to slow down, with you being retired and having your children long gone on their lives. Now, being a senior of society, you can only sit back and relax, which doesn't seem to bad right? Well, with your children out in a much different world than you experienced, can you help to not worry? These stages are called the 5 stages of Grief, founded by Dr. Elisabeth Kubler-Ross
How do our Elders look at death?
For themselves, they only wish to have a peaceful death, a "good death". Of course, they dont want us to feel bad for what is bound to happen, but at the same time they have had a terrible experience themselves, more than likely. They hate deaths of others, because older people have experienced it much more than the younger generations. This is thought to be another reason they are so depressed at such an age.
